Installation
- Panel layout and deployment records
- Trial welds before production welding each day
- Fusion (automatic wedge) welding for field seams; extrusion welding for details, corners and penetrations
- Non-destructive testing (vacuum box, spark testing) and destructive peel and shear tests
- Work to an approved method statement and inspection & test plan
Liner thickness
Thickness follows the approved design. For landfills, MWAN's technical guidelines set a minimum geomembrane for each landfill category: at least 1.5 mm HDPE for non-hazardous waste, and at least 2.5 mm HDPE or a double liner with leak detection for hazardous waste.
Handover
Each project closes with detailed daily reports and handover documentation, including the seam, test-location and repair records needed for the as-built drawings. We guarantee our workmanship and support our clients after handover.
